Meet Sofía
Hi, I’m Sofia, the hands behind Sofia Sharpe Studios.
I spent almost 20 years as an art teacher, teaching everyone from tiny humans just learning to hold a paintbrush to teenagers building their college portfolios. These days I’ve traded the classroom for my studio, where I paint custom pet portraits in gouache, capturing all the little details that make your pet your pet: the tilted head, the ridiculously cute zoomies, the “who rescued who” story you never get tired of telling.
For me, this isn’t just paint on paper. It’s heirloom art, the kind that gets more special the more personal we make it together. So tell me everything: the quirks, the nicknames, the weird noises they make at 6am. I’m here for all of it.

How it works
Send me photos
After you pay your deposit you’ll receive an intake form where you can choose your tier and upload photos. You’ll see the guide with examples and suggestions for choosing your reference photos.
Brag about your pet
In the intake form there is a section where you can tell me all about your pet and your story together, this helps me take your painting to the next level, something you wont get from a corporate “art” producer
Watch it come to life
Then the magic happens! I get started once we have decided on the final design and your art will be shipped off in about 2 weeks turnaround. Some clients want sneak peaks along the way, most hold off until they can see it in their hands :)
